IT Systems Analyst - BRISTOL

Our clients IT Systems team in Bristol is an integral part of IT, which is responsible for all aspects of IT software services within the Law firm. The IT Systems team is primarily responsible for the implementation, development and support of all software services, and dependent infrastructure, that are deployed across the firm including procurement, maintenance, support and enhancement.

IT Systems Role:

*To manage, or work as a resource on, projects to implement change or decommission software services in the service catalogue.
*To proactively identify and propose improvements to existing systems and manage their development and delivery
*To build strong relationships with suppliers and third party support companies to maximise return on support investment.
*To provide third line support to the service desk for all software services
*Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with limited or no assistance from the team leader/manager.
*Responsible for analysis and management of current systems including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problems.
*Responsible for communicating with supplier's technical staff regarding system requirements, support and implementation.
*Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
*Provide advice, training and technical support for various projects.
*Provide advice on the effective use of the systems, making recommendations on upgrades and replacements in order to ensure continuity of service.
*Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication.
*As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.

*Possesses broad general knowledge of IT from Service Desk, through infrastructure, architecture, development and training
*Experience of working within an ITIL environment
