COMMUNITY EDITOR Are you a people person? Are you outgoing? Are you nosey? Are you concerned about what?s happening in your local community? If you are, then you could be one of our community editors. We?re looking for two people to help us manage a new network of local sites we?re launching in the Bristol area in June. Each community editor will manage about a dozen websites and hundreds of local contributors. You will need to be able to inspire those contributors, hunt out issues on the ground and find other content we can use. You also need to be able to manage and moderate the sites ? for which all the training will be provided. You need to be computer-literate rather than a computer geek. Most importantly, you need to understand how and why people communicate with each other, to understand where those conversations take place and how to tap into them.
